

New RTK Wireless Solution for Surveying
in Europe
SANTA CLARA, California, September 1, 2000 – Pacific
Crest Corporation announces a new positioning solution that will
soon be available to surveyors in Europe who require a low power
base station system for GPS RTK (Real Time Kinematic) surveying.
The PDL LPB (Low Power Base) will be offered in ½ Watt and
2 Watt versions worldwide. This base will be available in two frequency
ranges; 430 to 450, and 450 to 470, and two bandwidths, 25 kHz
and 12.5 kHz.
The PDL LPB features integrated pole and antenna
mounts for easier mounting and better performance. Turnkey kits
are available that include everything needed to support RTK operation.
