Positioning Data Link Kits Provide Everything
But the GPS
SANTA CLARA, Calif., July 14, 1999 --
Pacific Crest Corporation introduces the Positioning Data Link
(PDL) kits that include base and rover radio modems for GPS RTK
(Global Positioning System Real Time Kinematic) Surveying. The
PDL kits provide a complete solution for surveying with base and
rover radio modems by including a tripod, carrying cases, battery,
cables and antenna. Designed specifically for surveying, the kits
are built for rugged, outdoor use and are easy to set up.
"The PDL kits offer unprecedented simplicity
and efficiency. Set-up for the entire system with all of the accessories
and the PDL radio modem takes only minutes. We've worked with GPS
leaders worldwide to design, develop, and build the most reliable
and complete turn-key system for GPS RTK surveying," points
out Thomas Chanian, vice president of sales at Pacific Crest Corporation.
Pacific Crest Corporation kits are designed to maximize
the operation of the GPS RTK equipment. To obtain the optimum radio
range, we have a tripod with a telescoping mast that adjusts to
the height the surveyor needs. We also provide a power supply that
extends the surveyor's time in the field, and all of our cables
are customized to fit with the surveyor's GPS manufacturer's equipment.
Our radio modems have an enhanced user interface so the user can
see what channel they are on, and change it instantly and easily
if necessary.
